mymy can sit on your Home Screen like any other app: its own icon, its own window, no address bar. It is the same site, so there is nothing to download and nothing to sign up for, and it takes up almost no space on the phone.
mymy is on your Home Screen.
Open it from there and it runs on its own, without the browser around it. Turn on alerts below and the next piece arrives as a notification.

- Press Share in Safari (on newer iPhones it is under the ••• button).
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open mymy from the Home Screen. Alerts work only from there: that is Apple’s rule, not ours.

Chrome, Edge and Firefox on an iPhone can add mymy too: open the browser’s Share menu, then choose Add to Home Screen. If your browser has no such option, open mymytune.com in Safari and do the same there. Then open mymy from the Home Screen: alerts work only from there.

In Chrome, Edge or Samsung Internet it installs from this page in one tap. No app store, no download, nothing to sign up for, and you can remove it the way you remove any app.
Open your browser’s menu and choose Install (or Add to Home screen; Safari on a Mac: File, then Add to Dock).
Know when a new piece lands
We publish about two pieces a day. Turn alerts on and your phone tells you the moment one is up, even when mymy is closed.

The web has no way to choose a notification sound: that was taken out of the standard in 2018, and Apple gives web apps no notification sound at all. So mymy plays its own short chime whenever the app is open, and leaves the rest to your phone.
