The group played the Deadline World Tour from July 2025 to January 2026 and released the EP 'Deadline' on 27 February 2026.[5][6][7][8][9][10]

Added: 'Born Pink' (2022) was the first album by a female group to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 since Danity Kane's 'Welcome to the Dollhouse' in 2008, and Guinness World Records lists it as the first K-pop album by a female act to top that chart.[11][12] Its Born Pink World Tour (2022–2023) played 66 shows to 1.8 million people.[13] BLACKPINK was the first K-pop girl group to perform at Coachella, in 2019, and headlined the festival in 2023.[14][15] TIME named it Entertainer of the Year for 2022,[16] the four members received MBEs from King Charles III at Buckingham Palace in 2023,[17][18] and on 20 February 2026 its channel became the first Official Artist Channel on YouTube to pass 100 million subscribers.[19]

Added: ## Members of BLACKPINK

The group's name and first group photos followed on 29 June, when YG explained the name by saying that pink is described as the prettiest colour but being pretty is not everything.[21][22][23][24][25] The birthdays below are those on YG's profile.[20]

Added: - Jisoo: South Korean, born 3 January 1995.[26]

Added: - Jennie: South Korean, born 16 January 1996.[27]

Added: - Rosé: born in Auckland, New Zealand, on 11 February 1997.[28]

Added: Jennie was born in South Korea as Jennie Kim and spent five years at school in Auckland from the age of ten.[27] Rosé was born Roseanne Park and grew up in Melbourne, Australia;[28] the Recording Academy's 2026 Song of the Year nominations list her among the songwriters of 'APT.' under her Korean name, as Chae Young Park.[30] Lisa has told interviewers that she took the name Lalisa on a fortune teller's advice after auditioning for YG, which called her back the following week;[31] she had trained at YG for about five years when she was introduced.[22]
