Ankara Echoes

Ankara Echoes first appeared on the streaming services with a five-track EP, 'Echoes Of Anatolia', released on 27 September 2025 under the band's own name as label; 'Beni Al' is its first track.[1] By 27 September 2026, Deezer listed 102 releases under the name, most of them singles from 2026, and an album, 'VOL BİR', released on 17 August 2026.[2]

## Who is in the band

The band's YouTube channel lists 13 musicians, with Mertkan Erkan first, followed by production, stage, photography, lighting and sound crews by name.[3][6] The release listing that the distributor ONErpm supplied to YouTube for the 'Beni Al' remix names Mertkan Erkan as composer, lyricist and studio producer, Ankara Echoes as the performer and Kürşad Kahraman as the remixer.[6] Erkan had released 'Beni Al' under his own name in June 2022, on the label Elektronikplak, and an acoustic version in March 2025, before the band existed on the streaming services.[4][6] No member other than those credits has been named in a source found for this page, and it does not guess further.

## 'Beni Al' and its remix

The band's biggest record is a song older than the band. Its own recording of 'Beni Al (Ta Ki Seni Görene Kadar)' went up on YouTube on 19 March 2026 and had 20,065,136 views on 26 September 2026; a live video posted the next day, 20 March, had 7,032,910. The Afro House remix by Kürşad Kahraman, released on 26 May 2026, is the version people identify: its upload had 67,513,909 views the same day, and it was in the top 50 of 18 of the 70 country charts Shazam publishes and in the top 200 of 30, at No. 5 in Bulgaria, No. 6 in Romania, No. 9 in the United Arab Emirates and No. 10 in Israel, Morocco and Russia. Erkan's 2022 upload had 80,072 views.[5][6][7]

## The AI question

Search suggestions in Turkish ask whether Ankara Echoes is AI, and under the band's March upload four of the 40 top comments raised it, one with 1,400 likes taking the lead vocal for an AI voice.[6] What can be checked points the other way: the credits name a person as writer and producer, the channel names 13 players and a crew, the live video shows a singer at the microphone with a keyboard player, drummer, guitarist and bass player on a lit stage, and none of the band's three 2026 uploads of the song carries YouTube's label for altered or synthetic content.[3][5][6] Which studio tools went into the March recording has not been said by anyone involved. mymy's account, [a 2022 song, found again](/new-releases/beni-al-ankara-echoes), measured all three recordings and found the same key and the same words at three tempos.
