KAROL G is a Colombian singer and songwriter who releases her records through Bichota Records and Interscope.[1][27] Her 2025 album 'Tropicoqueta' entered the Billboard 200 at No. 3, and on 12 April 2026 she became the first Latina to headline Coachella.[2][3][4]

'No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto'

She announced her sixth studio album on stage at Rogers Stadium in Toronto on 29 July 2026 and released it on 7 August.[1][2] Its 14 tracks feature Drake on 'Ahí', Bruno Mars on 'Still', the Spanish artists Judeline and rusowsky on 'BbY WOW', and Greg Gonzalez of Cigarettes After Sex on 'Después de Ti'.[5] It entered the Billboard 200 dated 22 August at No. 8 and became her fifth No. 1 on Top Latin Albums.[1]

'BbY WOW'

Karol G has said she wrote the song with Judeline in January and nearly cut it, until Judeline and rusowsky recorded verses remotely in Spain just before the tracklist went out.[6] It became her 11th No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs on the chart dated 29 August.[7] It first topped the Billboard Global 200 on 12 September and had four weeks at No. 1 by 3 October, her first run of more than one week there.[8][9] On the Hot 100 dated 3 October it rose to No. 6, her highest position on that chart.[10][11] A mymy count of YouTube Music's weekly charts on 28 September put it at No. 1 in 12 of 69 countries.[12]

'Still' and Bruno Mars

'Still', her duet with Bruno Mars, is a power ballad sung entirely in English over 1980s-style synths.[5] It entered the Hot 100 at No. 41 on the chart dated 22 August.[11][13] Mars joined her at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on 15 August for its first live performance, filmed for the music video.[14] On 1 October he released the video for 'Dance With Me', from his album 'The Romantic', with Karol G as his co-star.[13][15] Days earlier he had joked on Instagram about winning her back from Drake, her guest on stage in Houston on 27 September.[16]

Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour

The stadium tour, announced in April 2026, opened at Soldier Field in Chicago on 24 July.[17][2] After Dallas on 15 October it heads to Mexico, Costa Rica and Bogotá, where she plays Estadio El Campín on 4, 5 and 6 December.[6][17][18] The final date is San Siro in Milan on 24 July 2027.[17]

Awards

At the Latin Grammy Awards on 13 November 2025, 'Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido' won her Song of the Year and Best Tropical Song as a co-writer.[19][20] At the Grammy Awards on 1 February 2026, 'Tropicoqueta' lost Best Latin Pop Album to Natalia Lafourcade's 'Cancionera'.[21][22] At the MTV Video Music Awards on 27 September 2026, 'Papasito' lost Best Latin to Bad Bunny's 'NUEVAYoL'.[23][24]

For the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas on 12 November 2026 she has seven nominations, among them Album of the Year for 'Tropicoqueta' and Record and Song of the Year for 'Coleccionando Heridas' with Marco Antonio Solís.[25][26][27]
