LISA

LISA is a Thai rapper, singer and dancer and one of the four members of BLACKPINK, the Korean girl group that debuted on 8 August 2016.[3][5][22] Since late 2023 the members' solo careers have run outside YG Entertainment, which still manages the group.[1][3] Her own records come out through LLOUD, her management company, and RCA Records, whose April 2024 deal lets her keep ownership of her recordings.[1][2][12]

## Alter Ego

Her first solo album, 'Alter Ego', came out in February 2025 and entered the Billboard 200 at No. 7 with 45,500 equivalent album units.[4][5][6] That year she also made her acting debut in the third season of HBO's 'The White Lotus'.[5] In August 2025 she released a short film for its track 'Dream', in which she mourns a husband played by the Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi.[6]

'Press Play', a six-track EP announced in late August 2026, is due on 23 October through LLOUD and RCA.[7][12] Its lead single, 'SaWaDiKa', named after the Thai greeting for hello, came out on 3 September (4 September in Korea).[7][8] It entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 69 on the chart dated 19 September, her best position there for a song with no featured artist, and the Billboard Global 200 at No. 23; in the UK it reached No. 66.[9][10][11][12] On YouTube's own charts it went far higher, as [mymy found](/trends/sawadika-lisa).[25]

In June 2026 she sang 'Goals', recorded with Anitta and Rema for the tournament's official album, at the World Cup's US opening ceremony at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the first member of a K-pop girl group to perform at a World Cup opening.[19][20][21] Her Las Vegas residency 'Viva La Lisa', at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, was announced on 30 March.[5] Its first four nights sold out in under ten minutes, and two more were added on 29 September, making six between 12 and 29 November; her team calls it the first Las Vegas residency by a K-pop artist.[18]
